Horse Racing at Auzform - Thoroughbred Ratings, Tips and Black Book for Punters may collect personal information about customers during their normal course of business. The extent of the information that is provided to us by the insurance company / customer includes information such as the name, address, phone number, name of insurance company, type of insurance policy, policy number, policy excess and credit card details.
How We Use Their Information.
If customers do not supply the information required, we may not be able to provide the service to them. We will only use customer’s personal information:
• To provide a prompt an efficient service;
• To provide and administer the provision of the service, including billing and investigating or resolving any disputes relating to the service provided; and
• For planning, research, product development and strategic, financial and other business purposes in relation to Capital Glass products and services.
How We Disclose Their Information.
We will only disclose customer’s personal information:
• To suppliers and authorised providers for the purpose of enabling us to provide (and for our Suppliers to verify the provision of) the equipment and service to customers. Our suppliers and authorised providers use and disclose customer’s personal information in accordance with their privacy policies.
• To government agencies or individuals appointed by a government responsible for investigating and resolving disputes or complaints concerning their use of the service to enable the investigation and resolution of a dispute or complaint;
• Where customers have otherwise consented.
Direct Marketing.
Capital Glass will not use customer’s personal information to provide information to them about other goods or services which we or any of our related companies may offer to you.
Credit Reporting.
The Privacy Act allows Capital Glass to give a credit reporting agency certain personal information about your clients. The information we disclose to a credit reporting agency includes:
• Permitted information which will allow your customer to be identified,
• The fact that the customer has applied for credit and the amount,
• The fact that we are a current credit provider to them;
• Payments that are more than 60 days overdue and for which debt collection action has started;
• Information that in our opinion the customer has committed a serious credit infringement;
• Cheques drawn by the customer for $100 or more which have been dishonoured more than once.
If we report a customer’s default to a credit reporting agency their credit rating may be affected and they may have difficulty obtaining credit in the future.
